I think most of us can agree that we have been in a spring state of mind long before the season has actually started thanks to the warmer than usual temperatures that hit us around the country – and abroad. I can’t remember ever not needing a heavy coat in Paris in January. This year was a first. I subsequently was well into my shoe shopping for spring in the winter. Here are some favorite finds that will make your feet smile as we welcome the (even) warmer temperatures.
Chanel Espadrille’s in Various Styles, $675 | These are not only incredibly comfortable, they are effortless. Paired with a dress, shorts or skirt – you really can’t go wrong. And what gal doesn’t love a little sparkle? The barely there sequins add a little glamour but allow you to still keep is casual. I opted for the fully sequined white pair because I just couldn’t help myself.
Christian Louboutin Une Plume Patent Peep-Toe Red Sole Wedge Sandal in Flamingo, $675.00 | Nothing says Hello Spring! like a great electric peach – especially in a patent leather. Louboutin always knows how to win us over season after season.
Sophia Webster Mila Studded Laser-Cut Sandal in Tan, $550 | For the rocker in you, these studded sandals are extremely versatile from work to play. And there is no doubt they will make your legs look like they go on for days.
Tom Ford Lock Ankle-Wrap Suede 110mm Sandal in Nude, $990.00 | If you want a shoe that is barely there and yet makes a huge statement, look no further. This classic nude paired with the signature Tom Ford lock and gold heel is a spring dream. Paired with shorts or a skirt – these sandals will take you well into the summer.
Giuseppe Zanotti Zerlock Jeweled Thong Sandal in Sable, $650.00 | I can’t seem to buy a thong sandal that doesn’t have at least a little spot of sparkle. This one has the perfect small embellishment that keeps the sandal simple – but so very chic. Brunch to the beach – this makes the top of my list.
Aquazzura Leather Pom-Pom Sandals, $825 | If you look at these poms and don’t smile – I don’t know what to tell you. They are the epitome of fun and need to be worn out dancing stat. I love the plush poms paired with a thin strap that keeps the shoe light and airy.
H&M (yes, you heard it) Suede Mules with Tassels, $99 | Here is my curveball. In case you aren’t in the mood to break the bank, here is a great option from H&M that is every bit as chic and fun. These multi-colored tassels are sure to add some sass to your step this season – and for that price, you can afford to grab a few other things on your way out of the store.
